2025 IATBA Championships – Competition Schedule & Weigh-In Guidelines

To ensure clarity regarding weigh-in requirements, please review the following guidelines based on common scenarios:

Weigh-In Rules Based on Competition Schedule

Boxers must weigh in on the day they are scheduled to compete.

Saturday, 8 March: Weigh-in from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Boxing starts at 11:30 AM.

Sunday, 9 March: Weigh-in from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Boxing starts at 11:00 AM.

Finals Weekend (14-15 March): Weigh-in and boxing start times will be published after the first weekend of competition.

Weigh-In Requirements:

Boxers must present their student ID card at weigh-in to verify their student status.

If a boxer is unable to present their student ID, a letter from their college/university admissions office or equivalent will be accepted as proof of student status.

There is no weight allowance for any weigh-ins. Boxers must make their declared weight to compete.

If a boxer is competing on a given day, they must weigh in that morning within the designated weigh-in time.

If a boxer wins and progresses to another competition day, their weigh-in requirement depends on their category:

Junior Novice, Senior Novice, or Female Novice Categories: No additional weigh-in is required until Finals Day (15 March).

All Other Categories: Boxers must weigh in each day they compete.

Boxers who have their first contest on a specific day must weigh in that morning. No weigh-in is required on a previous day.

Boxers are not required to weigh in on non-competition days, except for champions who win by walkover and must weigh in to officially claim their title on 15 March.

Spectator Admission Fees

Admission fee per full day of boxing: €10 for adults, €5 for children.

Boxer Withdrawals

If a boxer is unable to compete for any reason, they must inform IATBA as soon as possible by emailing iatba.2010@gmail.com.

Additional Considerations

The pre-draw schedule allows boxers and coaches to plan their training, travel, and weigh-ins efficiently.
