2020 IATBA Champions

The 2020 IATBA Championships concluded Sunday 08 March at the National Stadium with 56 new IATBA champions crowned. This was the 10th anniversary IATBA championships since the association was founded in 2010.

Belfast Metropolitan College Boxing Academy and NUI Galway Boxing Club both emerged with nine IATBA titles and three silver medals. However, NUI Galway was the most successful team as they won six gold medals through in-ring competition and Belfast met won five gold medals.

NUI Galway succeed their (friendly) city rivals GMIT Boxing Club, who were 2019’s outstanding student boxing club.

The Irish Athletic Third-level Boxing Association wish to thank all the officials who volunteered their services over the weekend and all the coaches for their dedication to the sport.
