The IATBA Intervarsity Boxing Championships will commence at the National Stadium on Saturday morning 09 March at 11:30, with 33 contests down for decision. An IATBA record 181 student boxers entered the championships.

Remaining quarter-finals and a number of semi-finals will be held on Sunday 10 March.

Boxers in Novice weight categories weigh-in before their first contest in the event and then on the day they compete in their finals.

Boxers in all other weight categories must make weight every day they compete.

Weigh-ins for competitors on Saturday 09 March will take place in the National Stadium High Performance Gym from 08:00 to 09:30.

Weigh-in times for Sunday 10 March are 08:00 to 09:00.

Competition Attire

Boxers may wear either red or blue vests as designated by their corner or they may wear vests and shorts in their college colours.

All male boxers in novice experience categories must wear head guards and all female boxers wear head guards.
